This review is from: American Standard 4275.501.002 Colony Soft Double-Handle Kitchen Faucet, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) Even though this is not a high end faucet with tons of features, it is a low cost yet high quality piece that shouldn't wear out any time soon. It's very heavy and solid feeling...chromed steel that looks great, and copper piping. I vastly prefer the double handles, you know you're getting either all-cold or all-hot, and it's easier to get a precise mixture. The only thing that feels a little sub-par is the sprayer, (chromed plastic) but it hasn't been an issue. 2 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By Ricky L "Ricky" (USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: American Standard 4275.501.002 Colony Soft Double-Handle Kitchen Faucet, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) This is to replaced my meom faucet which leaks after 4 years of regular use. This Mexico made fauce described in HomeDepot's spec is with adjustable flow rate and showed a chrome side spray base. Finally I could only use my old meom base even the shape does not fit the AE's side spray. At least it has something to hold the side spray although with water tube stick out a bit and looks falling. I bought this from HomeDepot.com and they shipped it with a tape wrapped along the long side of the original box. There is no protection or they did not even give another tape along the short side. The box front was opened When I received it outside my door...Read more |
