Installed this faucet, simple to do. Turned faucet on to test. And when you use the sprayer water still comes out of faucet. Very heavy stream, so not much through sprayer. Contacted American Standard and they said diverter valve bad. And they sent the part only. You have to take the faucet all apart to install the diverter valve. Which I have not tackled that project. I would of prefered that they send me a complete new faucet. Should not have to replace a part and hope that fixes the problem. Will probably just purchase another faucet, not American Standard this time.

I got this faucet at the recommendation of a salesperson at a home appliance store. The store wouldn't let me see it in-person BEFORE I ordered it and would not allow returns AFTER I ordered it. So I ordered it from Amazon instead -- less expensive and would allow me to return it if I wasn't happy.
This is a nice heavy-duty faucet with just a couple of things I didn't like:
The sprayer is really rinky-dink (but I think a lot of them are).
The flow restrictor/aerator was so restricting that it would take AGES for the hot water to come through the lines...and I mean AGES!! Minutes and minutes and minutes!! It would also take a really long time to fill up a glass of water or heaven help me, a pot of water. So I took out that restrictor and put in another one with bigger holes. Problem solved! Yay!

I installed this model about 10 years ago, have had zero problems. No leaks, faucet flow stops when sprayer is on. The spout is high enough to clear most pots but not so tall it interferes with reaching the handle with either hand (convenient if I have a heavy pot in my right hand). Handle is long enough that the valve moves easily. My ONLY annoyance is that the socket that holds the sprayer is slanted for some reason. If you install the socket leaning forward the sprayer leans out over the sink & interferes with dishes in the drainer. If you install it leaning to the side it just looks stupid. I'm replacing the sink, figured I'd replace the faucet too. Based on my personal experience I'd buy it again (though I might purchase a different sprayer). However, the other reviews about leaks and sticky diverter valves have me concerned--perhaps today's version isn't built as well as the one I got 10 years ago.
