When we saw amazon selling this for 275 we like "yeah right, who ever sells for the MSRP? Home depot does, they sell this faucet for 475. So start with getting a great deal, and we got a promotion too, so our total for this faucet was 215. It was my birthday gift:) I had wanted one like this for a long time, but our old sink and countertop couldn't support it.
When we put in the new granite counter tops and undermount sink we ordered this faucet. The packaging is great, very secure, the instructions were super clear. My husband and son put it in and did a great job. The faucet works amazingly well, I was afraid it would be splashy because it sits so high, but it isn't. The spray function is terrific as well. I can easily fill a huge pot for pasta then rinse it out afterwards. We got the chrome which is very shiny and fits into our kitchen well. Everything about this faucet is just wonderful, I would put it in every kitchen I ever own.

The American Standard faucet I ordered, with a bit of reluctance since I couldn't actually see it and feel its quality, was beyond my expectations. Even my contractor was impressed with the quality and workmnship. It goes beautifully with my quartz countertops and really compliments the whole kitchen. People notice it right away. I couldn't be happier. Thank you!

You need about 1/2 in clearance around the counter hole to install this...it installs with pressure screws, so no wrenches needed. In our case, we needed to cut away a bit of the cabinet because the hole was right up against the side wall. They must have installed the old one before the counter top was permanently in place. Can be found for less elsewhere.
