The faucet is very well made with a solid base and brass shank. I found it to short to work on my sink and ended up replacing it with a different unit. The tip sits about 4 1/2 inches high and about 3 inches out from center. Which should be fine for glasses or bottles but I fill a container for the fridge and was unable to get this faucet to fill it.
