The photo of this faucet makes the spout appear slab-sided but it is not! It is round in cross section.

With the exception of the weird photo (which comes directly from the ELKAY web site) everything about this product screams quality. The unit is surprisingly heavy and well-made and the moving parts operate very smoothly. The supply lines provided are braided metal and the sprayer hose is thick braided nylon and nicely flexible.

I would definitely recommend this product.
