This faucet, purchased in 2008, is beautiful and looks good in my kitchen because I wanted a low-profile, high quality faucet as the sink sits in front of my garden window. Didn't want one of the 11" tall faucets and this Grohe seemed to fit the bill. The brushed nickel is a very nice look. But there are two problems with the faucet - first, our hard water clogs the spray holes and has to be cleaned out about once a year. But the bigger problem is the spray. We have rather low water pressure and previous kitchen faucets did not have a strong enough flow to effectively clean dishes. Well, I certainly don't have that problem anymore. On spray, the faucet consistently blasts water all over the dish/pot/pan, which then sprays out onto the kitchen counter in all directions. Even at the lowest flow possible to keep the spray feature on, it still is too much pressure. Really frustrating. Also, every time I turn the faucet on it reverts to regular flow even though I last used it on...Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars be prepared to replace the handle every 2-3 years, November 13, 2011

Looks great, but is not durable. For a kitchen faucet that costs this much, I expect the parts to last. We installed this in our new kitchen 6 years ago. Within a year, the rubber over the mechanism for changing the spray was disintegrating, and the chrome finish around the faucet peeled off. We got a replacement from the company that we purchased it from, but again, the same thing has happened, and now that it is not under warranty, the replacement handle is more than $200. A kitchen faucet needs to be durable; I have never had a faucet with such cheap components, and I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this product, unless you plan to change your faucet every year or so.
