Not really ideal for a kitchen sink. Also there is only a single button to switch to spray on pull-out, so you must turn off water to turn off spray and return to normal flow.
Additionally mine had a bad cartridge which leaked out of the box. Grohe said this does happen occasionally and sent a new cartridge immediately for free (as I would expect them to do). However you need to have the right tools to install the new cartridge yourself (a giant socket or special wrench that fits inside the fixture). If you don't have the tool already -- well, Grohe says you must either buy the right tools ($$), hire a plumber ($$), or uninstall and return the faucet to the place of purchase ($$). Really not great options considering you're repairing an out-of-the-box defect. Like I said, it looks beautiful! And it will probably still look beautiful in the box in the garage...Read more 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By Lives up North "Engineer" (Traverse City, MI) - See all my reviews This review is from: Grohe 32 665 000 Concetto Dual Spray Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet, StarLight Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) We gutted and remodeled our entire house about 1 1/2 years ago. We installed lots of expensive finishes, faucets fixtures. Expensive custom cabinetry, Thermador appliances. When people come-over, the first thing I show them is this faucet. It is everything you would look for in a Grohe faucet. It is precise and attractive, but it's primary attribute is the way the water flows from the faucet. I comes-out in a perfect stream. Crystal clear, perfectly round and with force. It sort of begs you to wonder what a home could be like if all its components were made in Germany. I'm surprised to read people complaining about the splashing. I think we've become accustomed to the low-flow crud (Irony here is that Grohe is an industry leader in low-flow and this faucet conforms to the newest flow requirements) that is mandated in the states, that compared to the waterless fizzle that comes out of most faucets. True, this faucet will splash if you hold a dish the wrong way...Read more 7 of 8 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Grohe 32 665 000 Concetto Dual Spray Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet, StarLight Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) Nice faucet just wish water flow could be softer (aerated). no option to add aerator just have to turn water inflow down some so splash will be less. |
