Grohes reputation is top notch. Its price is high but not outrageous like some of the "designer" faucets of much lesser quality. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: GROHE 33 330 001 Eurodisc Dual Pull-Out Spray Kitchen Faucet, Starlight Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) I had a different brand faucet which had a plastic cap to turn on the spray. It broke 4 times, supposedly it had a lifetime warrantee but when I called for a new cap they asked me all kinds of questions and I was already upset with the faucet. The person I had doing work at my house said he likes the Grohe products so I went on line to look for a new faucet. It was installed the other day and I already love it. Although I was disappointed in the part that is plastic, I think this faucet is a much better product than the one I had. The base part is very heavy and I can't see that breaking at any time. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Mike D. (San Jose, CA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: GROHE 33 330 001 Eurodisc Dual Pull-Out Spray Kitchen Faucet, Starlight Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) I have an earlier model of the unit. It has a slightly different handle. It has been reliable for LOTS of years except that the hose which allows the pull-out feature eventually starts to leak. On my unit, the leak was subtle and by the time I discovered it, my undersink area was ruined necessitating a fairly expensive repair.
My advice would be to periodically inspect the undersink area for the beginning of leaks from the hose. The hose is user replaceable (cost me about $50 locally) but wasn't a quick job since it requires disassembly of the faucet. |
