Hansgrohe Allegro E Gourmet Pull-Out Spray Kitchen Faucet

I bought this faucet because it looked great with my new deep silgranit sink. For looks, I would definitely give it 5 stars. However, the spray is so strong that when I first started washing dishes, my shirt would be wet from water splatter. I even tried putting on an apron several times. Now I have figured out to just turn on the faucet very low and to wash my dishes that way. Next time, I would probably buy a faucet that was lower, so the water doesn't have to travel so far down. If the water ever hit something like a spoon, the water would deflect and splatter all over. Like I said, lovely to look at, but not practical.

This product was paired with an extra deep double stainless steel sink from Franke, and the effect is both dramatic and utilitarian. The faucet operates very smoothly, pivoting easily from side-to-side, and the small side handle was engineered to adjust temperature and water flow with minimal movement. The gooseneck design is quite tall, and the circumference of the fixture gives it a hefty weight that anchors seamlessly to the sink. The interior hoses of the pull down nozzle are manufactured of high-grade nylon wrapped in flex steel, articulating and retracting easily and effortlessly. I searched over 50 alternative faucets under $200 before finally choosing this model and was thoroughly satisfied with the choice.

I really like this faucet. Unlike the previous reviewer my opinion is the opposite. I think it controls the volume and temp really well and effortlessly. I replaced a 1 year old lower design with it. Instead of burning myself with the really hot water from my new water heater, I can now control the temp easily and return to that setting effortlessly by just pulling the handle in the on/off direction without altering the temp direction. The height of the faucet is great with real improvement over the typical lower height designs. It's easy to aim and projects a narrowe,r stronger, spray to my cleaning and filling jobs. I was able to find it at 1/2 the price listed here.
