Has a smooth-working ceramic valve that is very reliable and has a satin action. You can move the handle with one finger. The unit can be removed from the deck without tools for cleaning. The nylon extension hose is smooth and quiet when pulling out. Overall, I really like the faucet. The only problem is the hand spray unit on the end of the nylon hose. First, how it works: its normal mode is aerated flow. If you want spray, you need to press and hold the plastic lever on the side of the hand spray unit. It would be better if it locked in either mode. Sometimes you want it to be in spray mode only and not have to hold it to be that way. Be aware, also, that there is a pre-filter where the hose meets the hand spray, not at the very end where the aerator is. This means when pipe-borne debris and other particles in the water block the flow, you'll remove the aerator and find nothing.
