Summary: Best faucet out there -- Worth every penny 2010-06-09
Comment: I just have to comment because I disagree strongly with the negative posts. Last year, I bought this faucet as a showroom model for a deep discount when we remodeled our kitchen in Summer 2009. We are now building a new home and I am HAPPY to pay the full retail price for this faucet. Why? Because it is truly the best out there, without question. We have had absolutely no problem at all with the Vinnata during our year of using it many times daily -- the button lets you switch between shower and flow as you choose, it is high enough to wash big pots (and dogs, too!) and it looks downright beautiful. The pull-out hose is long and handy. People who are having problems with the nozzle might check in their cabinet to see if the water hose is caught on something -- or maybe their plumber didn't put the Kohler weights on the hose to help keep the nozzle in place (the weights come with the faucet). I just really don't understand any negative comments about Vinnata. I love it and think it is a smart choice, even at $500. It is one of the most frequently used things in your entire home -- and "splurging" on this one item is a move you will not regret.

Summary: SAVE YOUR MONEY! 2010-05-16
Comment: We bought a new home that already had this facuet installed. I did not like it from the start and my wife loved it. I was right! I am having the same problem as Lexy. The hub that covers the handle comes off and when you put it back on it keeps repeating. The house is under warranty and they sent a plumber to check it and he said there is nothing wrong. Right! Save your money and buy some other facuet. You can find better quality for a lot less money. Hope this helps someone. Bob

Summary: Premium Priced JUNK 2010-04-16
Comment: I did not purchase this faucet through Amazon, but I did have one installed in our mega kitchen remod nearly four years ago. This faucet for the premium is a piece of junk. First it started leaking around the push button for the spray adjustment within the first year. In the last year or so it has started to leak around the pivot connection on the faucet head.

Finally I tried to fix it the other night. And bam I over tightened the faucet head and CRACK. The head of the faucet despite the nice Brushed Nickel finish is nothing but cheap-@ss plastic internally.

Kohler is living off their name. JUNK!

Kohler parts direct wants over $300 just for a replacement head. If thing had any real quality I might consider it, but for that price I think I am going to try a different faucet.

Summary: Great product and excellent price 2010-03-27
Comment: I saved well over $100.00 by purchasing this product through Amazon.com. Locally purchased, it would of been a lot more even if purchased through a plumber friend of mine. The faucet is solid, well made, with a great finish. It arrived rapidly and in perfect condition.

Summary: Leaks after a few months. 2010-02-06
Comment: I have a K-690 and it leaks at the handle. I've messed with it over and replace the valve which costs $15.20 from Kohler but it still leaks. Usually it is a slow drip but it varies depending on how long you've been letting it run. The rubber seals inside just don't seem substantial enough. There is too much plastic and not enough rubber to make a good seal. You can crank down the nut that hold the valve in place but it never gets a good seal.

I wouldn't buy one again and now I may have to find a replacement. I'm going to let a plumber take a look at it but if it starts leaking again, that's then end of Kohler for me.
