This review is from: Kraus KPF-1602 Single Lever Pull Out Kitchen Faucet, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) This terrific faucet looks, feels and acts like one costing 2 or 3 times its price. It is precisely put together, and unlike some of its more expensive competitors its sprayer is steel and brass, not plastic. It functions like the professional device it resembles - the sprayer has enormous pressure, and the quick-fill spigot unleashes vast quantities of water in seconds. All of its controls operate smoothly and with a great tactile sense. It is thoroughly satisfying to use. It's big -- but for a good reason. It allows the sprayer to hang out of your way when not needed, yet it's right where you want it when you do need it. I've had mine now for about two weeks and wish I had gotten it sooner. After using this professional grade faucet, the old fashioned separate faucet and dinky sprayer (which sits on the sink's edge and is hard to get back into its slot) will seem like something from a kid's Barbie toy kitchen. I'm completely satisfied with this Kraus faucet, and am still...Read more 11 of 11 people found the following review helpful: By Carl M Hunt (Fernandina Beach, FL, US) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kraus KPF-1602 Single Lever Pull Out Kitchen Faucet, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) Competivily priced. We chose this one over the type that have both spray and solid stream from the same outlet (end of hose). We are happy that we made this decision, you can use one or both streams at the same time for different purposes. There is nothing like seeing what you get before purchase. We went to Home Depot, Lowes, and several local plumbing supply houses attempting to find sample products. Couldn't find many of the brands that are on the listed Internet; no one carries an inventory any more. So, we had to rely on the user comments and very few are current (less than a year old). I searched for reviews of, product quality, user opinions, and manufacture reputation. I did discover that older Kraus products had something to be desired. I think quality is not an issue today, it appears that they have lisitened to the users. I am impressed with the quality of this product, it's big, has a lot of mass and gives one the sense that it can take...Read more 7 of 8 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kraus KPF-1602 Single Lever Pull Out Kitchen Faucet, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement) So my old man just put this together for our kitchen. Our old moen was dying and rusty and just sad (who knows how long it's been there, new house, old appliances). We saw this on a few websites, bought through amazon - shipped and delivered within a week. It's huge, which I had read about, and took out a tape measure for perspective prior to ordering it. He thinks it's not too tall "at all" - I'm thinking a few inches shorter would not have bothered me in the slightest. Perhaps because he's 10 inches taller than me...
It's very hefty, packaged quite well. The instructions are minimalistic, slightly better than you'd find at ikea. The numbered parts on the front cover of the instructions do not match the inside numbers next to the parts, and they misstate the rubber and metal washer directions on the inside (although stated correctly on the front instructions)- it's pretty obvious that the rubber washer goes down and then the metal before the screw, if you've ever installed...Read more |
