1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy It, June 26, 2010

This review is from: Moen CA7560W Extensa Glacier One-Handle Low Arc Pullout Kitchen Faucet (Tools & Home Improvement)
This faucet has been installed for 4 years. I like the faucet, but the quality is just not there. The white finish has already failed on the handle, exposing bare metal; pull-out spray head discolored yellow-white in stark contrast to the rest of the faucet; where faucet swivels on base plate, seal has failed, both parts have rusted and the spout grinds when you move it from side to side. Need I say more?

Or any Moen faucet. I bought this model in January 2010 and fizzy smelly water started coming out of it if you hadn't run the sink for a while. It would eventually run clear, but what was coming out of the faucet? Got another pullout model to replace it - same problem. There's something wrong with the hose inside which Moen doesn't want to replace. Like I said - don't buy a Moen faucet.

Well, I'm aggravated.
I paid over $300 for this, and then another $150 to have it installed.
After a few days I noticed that there was white foam, just like alka-seltzer that came out during the first few seconds...enough to fill a glass. Smells bad and then it dissipates, like a gas.
After much research I realize that Moen had sold this with a defective spray hose, so if you call, they apologize, and send a new one that has a different kind of coating.
Still a little foam, but a lot less -- livable, but still odd.

Of course, when they sent the replacement hose I had to try to install it. Easy clip connector thing they said. So, I tried it and it was easy. Except it leaked from that connection joint. A few tries later, still leaking, I called
the plumber. He came out, charged me to connect it, and left -- and it started leaking again. Another plumber, older more experienced, came out. Still leaked after he left. $150 in labor that day, and...Read more
