But I will say that so far Moen has impressed me. It installed easily with picture only instructions. They even supplied the hoses (long ones) that connect to the water valves in the wall. My brother who is a plumber said that it was rare to include hoses. The shank on the faucet allows for any thickness of counter top with out the need to puchase adapters. I thought I had broken a part and called the 1-800 support number and was talking with a clear speaking tech in 2 minutes who fed-ex'd overnight a new part just in case I would need it. One thing I learned was that Moen is not going to short change you. The faucet feels and looks high quality. Plus I feel they go out of the way to be customer focused. This review is from: Moen Kitchen Faucet Pull Down Style, 1H CSL KITCHEN FAUCET I spent an hour online looking at the various different offerings and found myself coming back to this one over and over again. Nice, elegant design and very functional. Instructions have no text, pictures only, but very easy to follow. My only issue was that the hoses that come with the facet are 3/8" whereas the supply lines under the sink were 1/2". Had to go out and get adapters. Other than that, faucet is in and working great. 1 of 3 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Moen Kitchen Faucet Pull Down Style, 1H CSL KITCHEN FAUCET I actually just bought this yesterday from one of those boxed stores because our 5 year JADO faucet had a leak on the pull down hose. I thought I'd try the Moen brand because I read it was one of the good brands unfortunately I got a lemon. I installed it today and was so happy that it worked fine and I tested it by turning it on and off 3 times which I thought was enough. I then cleaned up all my mess around the sink and put away my tools and went back to try again and it turned on beautifully. Waited for the water to get hot then tried to turn it off - and to my surprise, it would not turn off. The handle was stuck - it would move front and back but not to the off position so I turned off the water. After that the handle was unstuck. I thought it was a bad spout so i took it out and just tried it with the hose minus the spout and the same thing happened. So I guess I won't be buying a Moen for the foreseeable future. |
