Comment: I thought I was getting a deal because this was a solid price, on sale, and there was a rebate too. I installed in and the hot water hums when I turn it on. It is bothersome to the point that I have to take it off and return it, unfortunately because it is nice looking and a fair price.

Comment: I was very pleased with my purchase. It looks exactly like the picture online at Amazon.com. I priced this item at Lowes and it was much cheaper to purchase thru Amazon.com. I just had it installed on 5/15/10 so far no problems. Would definitely recommend this item

Summary: Well made but not exactly what we wanted 2010-05-14
Comment: Positive:
This is a well made faucet with smooth operation and a unique spray volume feature. Stainless seems much more robust and water stain repellent than satin.
Neutral or Negative:
We had hoped to find a faucet that would do the same thing as our old water-miser faucet attachment, commonly found in California drought country. This is usually a lever and spray attachment, mounted in place of the faucet aerator. The lever controls the flow from full to off, without having to adjust the temperature. Great for saving water while doing dishes. But it's clunky and ugly.
The volume feature on this faucet only minimally adjusts the volume, and only then when it is on spray mode.
Additionally, medium to low flow causes the spray/stream button to keep clicking to stream. Apparently the volume must be high in order to keep spray engaged.

Comment: Immediately after installation, the very poorly made plastic piece that docks the spray head came out of the faucet, and requires re-installation every time you pull the spray head down. There is a small plastic tab that holds the piece in the faucet, which, I'm sure will wear out rapidly with frequent re-installation.
After speaking to a computer and waiting over 40 minutes to talk to a human, the phone representative could not tell me if it was a recurring problem and just told me not to worry since it has a "lifetime warranty." A new part is on the way, however, I'm so dissatisfied with the overall quality that I will return the faucet, despite the hassle of tearing it out and packing it back up.

Summary: Very please with faucet, glad we purchased it. 2010-01-19
Comment: We purchased this faucet to replace a Moen that I was tired of 'adjusting' or replacing parts in to keep it from dripping every 9 months. I chose this faucet because the design seems simpler - remove the handle and replace a cartridge. The Moen had several rubber seals on springs that I've replaced and a plastic ring to tighten down the ball socket assembly. Installation was simple, although the instructions weren't included in the box - I had to go to the website to get them. I believe this is the fault of Price Pfister, there were no indications the box had been previously opened or the faucet was used. Rotating the faucet out of the way is very easy, very little force is needed. The on/off lever is also very easy to move - great if you have a handful of something and just want to use a finger to turn it on/off or make an adjustment to the temperature. Right now when returning the faucet head back up into the arm it returns completely and fits snuggly. There is a plastic collar inside that it fits into but I believe the weight on the hose is heavy enough to keep the faucet head firmly in place, so it's possible the problem other people are experiencing the the faucet head not fitting snuggly in place may be because the hose/weight isn't free enough under the sink. We really like the height of the faucet - there's no problem getting larger pots in the sink even when it's not moved off to the side. The downside is the faucet doesn't protrude towards you as much as the flatter style faucets do. And as someone else stated, you can swing the faucet around and out of the sink so you need to be careful where it's been moved to before you turn on the water. One thing to keep in mind is how much depth you have from the faucet to your backspash/wall. To install it with the lever completely to the right you need a decent amount of room for the lever to turn towards the wall. I had to angle it slightly - it still looks great but the depth wasn't something i considered when we purchased it.
