Installed it in our newly remodeled kitchen. It works great. The matching soap dispenser is a plus. The bottle is big enough so you don't have to fill it so often. Amazon had a great price on it. Cheaper than Home Depot. I love this faucet. Also, got the matching one for our 1/2 bath which was also remodeled. I love the Ashfield collection. Great looking faucets for very reasonable prices. Highly recommend. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Price Pfister 529-7YPY Ashfield Single-Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet, Tuscan Bronze (Tools & Home Improvement) I love this faucet. I feel it's well made and enjoy using it. In fact, I now have two for the house and another in a rental. The only bummer to the pull out function is the need to lift it above the level of where it rests in the goose neck, placing a kink in the hose each time that I fear will stress the cord with repeated use. This has not been a problem, but I tend not to use it as much for fear of decreased life. The caveat is the soap dispenser. Mine failed after a couple months. I use it regularly when doing dishes. I contacted the warranty dept over a month ago and received only the automated reply that they received my email. I hate to do it, but it's back to Home Depot and I'll buy another hoping to get a better unit next time. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Avid Reader "Avid" (Houston, TX) - See all my reviews This review is from: Price Pfister 529-7YPY Ashfield Single-Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet, Tuscan Bronze (Tools & Home Improvement) We purchased this faucett and it works fine and looks great, EXCEPT for one defect. The pull-down faucett hose doesn't seat and hangs down approximately 2 inches, exposing the plastic hose. It looks tacky at best. The unit does come with a lifetime warranty, but getting the part and fixing it will just be time consuming. We will just return it for a new unit and let Price Pfister deal with the defecive unit until they redesign the holding mechanism - if they ever do. We noted on another review website that this is a very typical defect that Price Pfister has ignored, other than sending a cheap plastic ring that again wears out. |
