The faucet has two modes, stream and spray, and the head pulls down for hand-held sprayer mode. Mostly I use the head pulled out slightly and tilted forward towards the front of the sink, so that I don't have to bend over so far to wash dishes...most sinks and faucets are not made for tall people.
After a year of using this faucet, it continues to work flawlessly and the finish looks as good as the day we bought it. We are planning on buying another if we move. A note about the soap dispenser, it is set for a large volume per pump; if you just hit the head of the dispenser with a quick slap and don't push it all the way down, you get the perfect amount to wash your hands. And even though we have a four-hole sink, we did not use the three-to-one adapter, we opted to buy stainless steel hole blanks at the local plumbing store. The only problem that we had was we have the gas exchange on the left and soap dispenser on the right of the faucet hole and the hot and cold water lever is in the way. However, we figure out a way to solve the problem is to situate the lever in the center. It looks better than on the side. The pull out prayer is working great, easy to turn to any direction. This is a better faucet than the last two that I have and I am giving it a 5 stars. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Kat J (Charlotte, NC) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Pfister F5297YPY Ashfield 2 or 4-Hole Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet , Tuscan Bronze (Tools & Home Improvement) Three months later, I am quite pleased with the basics of this faucet. We did not want to pay double to match the Moen faucet that we already have in this kitchen, so when we put in an island sink, we looked for one that had the same feel/design and finish type, but was much more affordable. It seems to work just fine, just hope it lasts. The overall appearance is nice although I am not so fond of the design of the levers that makes it hard to tell which way is hot and which is cold. Since it is not my primary faucet, I am willing to overlook this, but it could bug me if it was the only one. When the plumber went to install it, it made a very strange noise when turned on. He spoke to customer service rep who said it was the hose and promptly shipped us a new one no charge. It was easy enough for my husband to install (OK he is pretty handy) and sure enough, no more funky noise. I was impressed with the service. Since I have not had it long enough, I am hesitate to give it 5...Read more |
