Bought this to replace an almost 20yr. old Kitchen Instant-Hot Spout that had started leaking and looked generally shabby after so much use.

Considering that the cost of a spout by itself from KitchenAid can run 150-200$....this is a steal. The Cold Water & Hot Water Copper Tubing and the Rubber tubing are attached to this faucet in case you were wondering.

most newer instant hot faucets from what I've installed require a pass-through the counter and are fastened by a locking nut screwed onto the the threaded shaft of the faucet. However enlarging an existing hole in a granite countertop to accomodate them is an expensive option. This is where the WASTE KING H520-CH LAGUNA came to the rescue. Similar in style to the old KitchenAid Spouts it is fastened to the countertop by a screw that goes into a clip and nut that you attach from underneath the countertop...Only the tubing to the water tank need to be accomodated by the hole.

This was a replacement faucet for a hot water dispenser we purchased in 1999. The old one was leaking and took a LONG time to fill a cup. If we had known how nicely this faucet would work, we would have replaced it a long time ago! We now have a cup of hot water in a matter of a few seconds.
