Been through 5 or 6 Emerson instant hot water faucets in my current house, my previous house and my parent's house over the last 15 years. The Emerson's failures were cracked plastic tanks, corroded metal tanks or plastic lines running too close to heater elements and cracking. Always seemed to me to be bad designs or material choices.
However, I use these things every day and love them. Trying out the Waste King this time. Like the look and feel of the faucet. Much easier to turn on. Never liked the twisting action of the Emerson faucet. Been using it for about 6 weeks now. Flow of water takes a few seconds to start once you open the faucet. The flow rate isn't as good either. The inline filter is goofy and probably unnecessary in my house since I run a big whole house carbon filter system that also has a 5 micron sediment pre-filter.
