This was a replacement for an insta-hot that died (leaked under sink cabinet. The explanation is long but we love our hot water unit. The first one we ordered was replaced by the manufacturer because we could not get the chemical taste out of the water. Anaheim Manufacturing paid for the plumber to come to our home and replace this item; I called them when we first poured water out and 4 days later when it water was still not drinkable. I did not have to make a big fuss about the problem and am very satisfied with the service and the replacement product. My nephew is a plumber and said that all these stainless steel tanks are rinsed in muriatic acid baths so, before plugging your unit in, run cold water through for about 10 - 15 minutes. I love the design of the water faucet (some much nicer that the insta-hot) and the price is great! The manufacturer stands behind their products with excellent service. I would not hesitate to order of another their products but hope I will...Read more

Overall Not bad. I was replacing an existing unit and this worked pretty good.

Pro: Good design and look. The handle is nicely designed and comfortable to use. Relatively straightforward to install. Have not had it for long, but the overall construction looks good.

Cons: The rubber hose that delivers the hot water from the tank to the faucet is very finicky and can be tricky to install if you do not have a lot of space to mount it. It comes with two bends when in the box and if you do not have space to straighten it out while installing it, gets soft when the hot water goes through and the bends become more pronounced reducing the flow of the water considerably. Had to keep bending down behind the kitchen sink and straighten it out frequently. Not a lot of fun.

Overall, other than the problem with the hot water delivery rubber pipe, it is not bad. You might want to straighten the pipe for a few days before installing.
