Westbrass D205 Traditional Hot/Cold Water Dispenser Faucet & Hot Tank

I bought this to replace an Insinkerator after the tank started leaking after only three years. It works well, but the brass connectors are not stock and easily break off during installation. We took it to a plumbing supply house after breaking the supply line during installation and they had never seen anything like it. Fortunately, the company stood behind it and sent two replacement parts free.

Pros
- The tank with this unit is stainless steel. I had problems with the plastic tank used by other manufacturers due to the 'taste' imparted by the tank to the water (I am on treated well water). After two tries with other units, this one doesn't cause the water to change taste.
- It heats the water quickly.

Cons
- I'm on my second tank, with the first failing after about 2 years or so. Customer service doesn't deal with repair parts, so I'm out a lot of bucks since I had to buy an entirely new tank. The tank itself failed due to pinhole leaks through the stainless steel itself, and there was also a failure of a plastic nut inside the unit.
- Somewhat difficult to install, but not too bad, mostly because of the limited space under sinks and three different tubes you need to hook up. This was a very good buy considering that the faucet alone elsewhere would cost the same as this whole item with the hot water tank included. The only drawback was installation. That was really difficult because of the copper tubing included.
